GameRoll Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GameRoll ("GameRoll", "we", "us"), a mobile app that lets you track the games you play, follow other players, and share your gaming activity. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use GameRoll.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use GameRoll. You are responsible for the information you provide when creating your account (email, display name, handle) and for keeping your account secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

2. Your content

GameRoll lets you post reviews, comments, lobby threads, avatars, and other content ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content, but by posting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the app as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your reviews to other users or in your public activity feed).

You agree not to post User Content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone.
• Contains spam, malware, or is intended to manipulate ratings, rankings, or follower counts.

We may remove User Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, using the in-app reporting and blocking tools or at our own discretion.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use GameRoll for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the normal operation of the app or its backend services.
• Create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or to abuse features such as reviews or rankings.

4. Game data and third-party sources

Game titles, covers, and metadata shown in the app are sourced from IGDB and, as a fallback, Steam's public store. This data belongs to its respective providers, and GameRoll does not claim ownership over it. We are not affiliated with the games, publishers, or platforms referenced in the app.

5. Subscriptions — GameRoll UNLIMITED

GameRoll offers an optional paid subscription, GameRoll UNLIMITED, that unlocks additional features. Key terms:

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you subscribed.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple or Google account subscription settings — GameRoll cannot process cancellations or refunds directly, as billing is handled entirely by the respective store.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

If you subscribed on iOS, purchases are also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

6. Intellectual property

GameRoll's name, logo, and app design belong to us. Except for User Content and third-party game data (see Section 4), you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our permission.

7. Termination

You may stop using GameRoll and delete your account at any time by contacting moshercode@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice where the violation is serious (e.g. abuse, harassment, or illegal content).

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

GameRoll is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, free of errors, or that any specific game data will be accurate or up to date. To the extent permitted by law, GameRoll is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use GameRoll after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
